About me

I am a creative thinker who values people and growth. My strong passion lies in pushing myself every day through routine, discipline, and challenges, both physical and mental. For me, growth is not a one-time achievement but a continual process; each day is an opportunity to build resilience, sharpen focus, and develop new strengths.

I believe self-improvement is built not only on personal effort but also on surrounding yourself with the right people: those who motivate, challenge, and respect you. Over the years, I’ve come to recognize the impact that strong communities and teams can have on personal and professional development. The right environment elevates everyone involved, and I strive to contribute to that dynamic wherever I work.

Through my professional experience, from fast-paced kitchens to small business ownership and hands-on project work, I’ve learned the importance of consistency. Consistency in work ethic, in discipline, and in how you treat others. These lessons have shown me that technical skill is important, but what truly builds trust and results is showing up reliably, working with respect, and finding solutions under pressure.

Looking ahead, I’m committed to continuing my growth both personally and professionally. I’m developing the physical and mental readiness to excel in high-stress environments, while building on the foundation of resilience, adaptability, and teamwork that has defined my career so far. My goal is to take these values and apply them in roles where I can make a tangible impact, contribute to strong teams, and keep challenging myself to evolve.

Hobbies and Interests

Cooking

I've spent over a decade of my life in the food and hospitality industry. I have a deep passion for food and creating unforgettable experiences for others. Passion is the fuel that has kept burning inside me, pushing me further in this industry. The discipline, never-ending learning, mastery, and organized chaos, is absolutely intoxicating.

This particular plate was part of a 9-course tasting menu designed by me. Duck breast sous vide to medium rare, braised leek "sushi", aromatic and earthy spice dusting, and a remoulade.

Fitness

I grew up playing competitive sports, with a focus on hockey and football. My biggest takeaway from these experiences was how much mental strength dictated what you were physically capable of accomplishing.

These days, I stay active through tracking my running, weight training, mountain biking, and casual boxing training.

Photography

A relatively new hobby that was born from taking food pictures for my catering business, Tapas & Tales. I started to draw parallels to setting up a photo, as setting up a plate. It is something that I intend to keep exploring further and eventually get into video creation and editing.
